J55
J55 is a blend of polymer modified bitumen, extender and high P.S.V. Aggregate designed to provide an effective skid resistant seal to joints and reflective cracks in asphalt surfaces. (Catch weight sacks). Independent test results indicate that J55 achieves 66 - 75 SRV in the Pendulum Skid Resistance Test.
Temperate Bridgejointing Sealant
A polymer modified bituminous bridgejoint binder which is mixed with graded aggregate to form an asphaltic plug joint in asphalt and concrete carriageways. This system can accommodate a movement range of ± 25mm in a standard APJ installation of 500mm width and meets the Highway Agency Specification for Bridgejoint Binders in the UK.
Tropical Bridgejointing Sealant
A modified bridgejoint binder suitable for tropical climates, recommended for installations in areas of high traffic density and where surface temperatures exceed 50°C. This system is a polymer modified bituminous compound which exhibits a high resistance to plastic flow and has resilient properties to withstand deformation from trafficking at elevated temperatures.
Low Temperature Flexible (LTF) Bridgejointing Sealant
A polymer modified bituminous bridgejoint binder which is mixed with graded aggregate to form an asphaltic plug joint in asphalt and concrete carriageways. Rapid Asphalt Repair has been developed in conjunction with the Highways Agency and is classified as an Emergency Patching Material (EPM) complying with Clause 995 of the Highways Agency’s Specification for Highway Work.
Rapid Asphalt Repair has been specifically engineered for the temporary refurbishment of surfaces compromised by road traffic incidents until planned permanent reinstatement can be organized during low traffic periods. Rapid Asphalt Repair enables the road to be opened swiftly after the incident is cleared reducing traffic congestion. Cure time of the Rapid Asphalt Repair is typically less than 30 minutes. With thorough preparation a more permanent repair is possible.
